ccanCanadian Cannabis Corp is an early-stage producer and supplier of medical marijuana in Canada. According to the company, it is poised to become the largest indoor cannabis producer in the country, with its Toronto facility and its license pending. Its focus is to work with doctors and distribute medical cannabis to patients, first in Canada then eventually around the world.

The company’s main facility is located in the Greater Toronto Area, some 12 miles from the Pearson International Airport. The facility covers 300,000 square feet, making it the largest medical cannabis production facility in North America. It already has zoning approval for the production of medical marijuana.

Canadian Cannabis Corp is awaiting its commercial production license from Health Canada, which would allow the company to produce 330,000 pounds of cannabis every year. This would be the largest marijuana production capacity granted license in Canada.

While anticipating its license, the company has delved in research and development, as well as clinical trials, for newly approved cannabis strains, treatments, foodstuff, and other derivatives. Among the ailments it hopes to address are nausea, body pains, multiple sclerosis, glaucoma, and liver and pancreas diseases. The company expects to start taking orders from patients in Fall 2015.

Canadian Cannabis Corp was formerly known as Gold Party Payday, Inc. The company, originally based in Kentucky, was founded and incorporated in 2011 and was an organizer of scrap gold-selling events. In May 2014, a reverse merger allowed Canadian Cannabis to acquire Gold Party Payday.

Today, Canadian Cannabis Corp is based in Brampton, Ontario, with a market value of $81,277,275 (as of July 24, 2015). It trades on the OTCBB under the symbol CCAN. At the company’s helm are Benjamin Ward, CEO and President; and John Esteireiro, COO. Alongside them are Nathan Nienhuis, VP for Horticulture; Aubrey Bradley, VP for Engineered Solutions; and John Carroll, VP for Operations.
