Cannabis Rules Tightened in Corona

32993072_sOther Inland-area cities are addressing the issue as well. On Dec. 1, the San Jacinto City Council voted to update the city’s marijuana ordinance to prohibit cannabis manufacture, cultivation and delivery.

San Jacinto already prohibited medical marijuana dispensaries but did not specifically identify cultivation, manufacture and delivery. The vote was 5-0.

The Riverside City Council is set to take up the issue of medical marijuana cultivation at their Dec. 8 meeting. Coletta said that starting in 2007, Corona began cracking down on medical marijuana dispensaries and that none remain in the city. The same can be said for cannabis grow operations.
