CSU Pueblo granted over $1.2 million for new research on medical marijuana

PUEBLO, Colo. — CSU Pueblo is getting more than $1.2 million to open up new research on medical marijuana.

All of the money is thanks to taxes generated from the marijuana industry.

The college says the research could potentially lead to a patent, which could potentially bring in a lot of money to southern Colorado.
