Enertopia Corporation (ENRT)

downloadEnertopia Corporation is a Vancouver, Canada-based public company that cultivates, produces, and sells medical marijuana under Canada’s new Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR). The company has interests in three different marijuana-growing facilities in Canada.

One of Enertopia’s operations is with the Lexaria Joint Venture in Burlington, Ontario. This joint venture with Lexaria Corp has a facility area of 75,000 square feet in total. The planned production spaces on this area could have 22-foot ceilings. Enertopia has a 51% interest in this production facility.

Another joint venture agreement is with The Green Canvas, Ltd in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Green Canvas has a growing facility scalable to 55,000 square feet. It is currently being upgraded to make a 14,000-square foot production space that would comply with MMPR standards. Enertopia could acquire up to 75% of this growing facility.

Meanwhile, the company has a joint venture with World of Marihuana Productions, Ltd, which has a production space of 2,500 square feet in Mission, BC. Enertopia can earn up to 51% net revenue interest from this facility. However, as of September 18, 2014, this joint venture is being disputed due to World of Marihuana’s alleged failure to provide financial information.

Founded in 2004, Enertopia Corporation was formerly known as Golden Aria Corporation, an oil and gas energy company. It changed to its current name in 2010.

Today, Enertopia Corp is listed in the Canadian Securities Exchange as TOP and in the US OTC market as ENRT. It has a market cap of USD 5.79 M. Key executives in the company include Robert G. McAllister, CEO, President, and Chairman; Baljinder Bhullar, CFO and Principal Accounting Officer; Thomas Ihrke, Senior VP of Business Development; Matthew Chadwick, Senior VP of Marijuana Operations; and Robert Chadwick, Advisor.
