Gov. John Hickenlooper issues health warning on marijuana cultivated by Colorado Wellness Centers

Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper issued an executive order along with a health and safety advisory Wednesday warning people to not use marijuana cultivated by Colorado Wellness Centers since the company used unapproved pesticides.

The company, which also does business as Lush used pyriproxyfen was known as by pesticides that were off-label when cultivating marijuana, according to the Wednesday afternoon bulletin, according to a joint advisory by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

Products that are affected include marijuana blossom, trimming, infused products, and concentrates, the advisory says.
