Film–The world wide web is buzzing over the brand new “Avengers: Endgame” trailer, coming months after one of superhero cinema’s devastating cliffhangers; “Deadpool 2” has a family-friendly redux for the holidays with “Once Upon a Deadpool”; Marvel’s super-fun “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” already has a Golden Globe nom for best animated movie; director Peter Jackson is at the helm of the latest sci-fi experience, “Mortal Engines. ”

Sports–Europe’s Champions League competition closes out its final matchday this week before entering the knockout stage in 2019. While 12 teams have guaranteed a spot, expect a flurry of dramatic finishes.
