Next Generation Management Corp. (NGMC)

finallogo1Originally an energy company, Next Generation Management Corp has expanded to the marijuana industry by focusing on retail and cultivation in the medical cannabis sector. Though the company still has its energy business, it has stated that the medical marijuana industry is “its most recent and promising direction.” In March 2014, it began devoting its focus and resources towards this new direction.

The company has formed a wholly owned subsidiary called NextGen Cannabis Consulting LLC. It operates a marijuana dispensary in Los Angeles, California and is expanding into Oregon.

This division’s initial revenue stream comes from providing end-to-end dispensary management services such as staffing, facility management, supply chain technologies, and security. It has partnered with BioTrackTHC, a software company that provides seed-to-sale solutions for cannabis business management, sales, and compliance.

Meanwhile, Next Generation’s energy arm is still called by the company’s former name, Next Generation Energy Corp. It explores and develops natural gas and petroleum oil properties in the US. With this division, the company owns Knox Gas LLC, through which it acquired a collection of oil and gas leases located in Knox County, Kentucky.

The history of Next Generation Management goes back to 1980, when it was founded. It had several business and name changes, including Micro Tech Industries, Inc, Next Generation Media Corporation, and Next Generation Energy Corporation. It became Next Generation Management Corporation only in June 2014, in line with the company’s new industry direction.

Today, New Generation Management is traded in the OTC markets as NGMC, with a market cap of USD 2.76 M. At the company’s helm is Darryl Reed, who is the Chairman, CEO, President, CFO, and Principal Accounting Officer. He is accompanied by Kim M. Agger, Director of Franchise Relations.
