This July, New York State Will Select Medical Pot Growers

ilovenewyorkFor the past year, the Peckhams have worked to submit their application, which would create a 22,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in the Adirondacks in Warren County. If approved, Etain, LLC would add dispensaries in Yonkers, Kingston, Albany and Syracuse.

And then there are family-owned businesses like Etain, LLC, operated by the Peckham women. Amy Peckham and her daughters, Hillary and Keeley, originally pursued this industry for personal reasons. Hillary and Keeley’s grandmother suffered from ALS, and before she died two years ago, a doctor recommended medical marijuana. She never received the treatment because it was still illegal in New York.
