What happens now that Ohio has legalized medical marijuana? Free panel discussion Thursday

PARMA, Ohio – Ohio’s new medical marijuana law took effect last month but the work has just begun to determine what Ohio’s program will look like.

Will Ohio doctors register to recommend marijuana to their patients? Who will be licensed to grow marijuana? Is legal recreational marijuana in Ohio’s future?

Four people who have a stake in the future of Ohio’s medical marijuana program will discuss those issues and more in a free program Thursday in Parma.

The event is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Parma-Snow Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, 2121 Snow Rd., Parma.
